Recommended PC configuration

How Can We Help?

We recommend to use separate computer together with your EEG system. Do not use it for Internet browsing and gaming. Do not install and run any background applications that may use a lot of computer power. Do not run automatic Windows updates or schedule them for the time you do not have EEG recordings.

Minimum PC configuration:
Processor: At least Intel Core i3.
RAM: At least 4 GB.
HDD: At least 250 GB. The file system type: FAT32 or NTFS.
Video card: Support DirectX API version 11.0 and above. RAM for discrete cards: at least 1 Gb.
Monitor: A resolution of at least 1024×768 pixels, diagonal is not less than 10″.
Input device: Standard enhanced keyboard with numeric section, and optical mouse with scroll wheel.
Printer: Inkjet or laser. Recommended printers manufactured by: Hewlett Packard, Canon, Brother, Samsung, Xerox, Epson, Lexmark. The print resolution: at least 600 dpi.

Recommended PC configuration:
Processor: Intel Core i5 with integrated Video Core Intel HD Graphics 5000/6000/530/630.
RAM: 8 GB.
HDD: 1000 GB. The file system type: NTFS.
DVD-RW: If you need data backup.
Monitor: The screen size of at least 23

Recommended PC configuration for Video EEG monitoring:
Processor: At least Intel Core i5
RAM: at least 8 GB.
HDD: At least 1000 GB. With high reading/writing speed. File system type – FAT32 or NTFS.
Video card: Discrete game video card with at least 1 GB VRAM, bit width at least 128/256 bit. VRAM frequency at least 1500 MHz. DirectX API support from version 9.0.
Monitor: Resolution at least 1920×1080 pixels (FullHD), diagonal at least 23″(1 or 2 monitors).

Recommended operative system and software:
Microsoft Windows 10 х64
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1
Microsoft XNA Framework 4.0

We recommend to equip the computers for ERP system or Video-EEG monitoring with an additional network adapter or Wi-Fi module. It allows to use Internet connection in separate network so we could provide a remote assistance if needed.
